The NautiStandard is built on a comprehensive system of controls, inspections and performance tests carried out throughout every phase of the project. These procedures ensure that each stage meets strict technical criteria, guaranteeing an exceptional final finish.
This model is based on the principles of ISO 9001 and aligned with the technical guidelines of ICOMIA, the International Council of Marine Industry Associations. Our standards go even further, incorporating stricter internal protocols to ensure maximum performance, consistency and reliability in every project.

Quality Control
Our Quality Department works closely with the client and the Paint Inspector to ensure compliance with the highest standards and the requirements of the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
The Quality Management inspectors from our independent division continuously collect data to maintain optimal conditions and achieve flawless results in every project phase.
To meet the specific needs of our clients, we also collaborate with renowned external and independent inspectors, such as WREDE, CCS, ATLAS, MYPAI, and OPTIMIZA.
As part of this process, every layer of the coating system — from substrate preparation to the final top coat — is applied and verified under strict quality protocols.
Substrate
Base preparation is key to the entire coating system. We ensure perfect adhesion through controlled sanding profiles, salt testing and full contamination removal.
PRIMER
Filler
Thick epoxy filler used to fair the surface, correcting shape imperfections and ensuring long-term stability of the hull geometry.
Fine Filler
Applied to refine micro-imperfections and achieve the ultra-smooth surface needed for premium superyacht topcoats.
High Solid Primer
A high-build primer layer that increases barrier protection, isolates the fillers and creates the perfect surface for finishing primers.
Finishing Primer
Fine-grade primer sprayed to deliver a uniform surface texture and to maximize gloss and DOI performance.
